Yesterday I attended the 2016 Philadelphia Flower Show. The theme of this year’s show is Celebrating our National Parks. The National Park System turns 100 this year. Many of the exhibits in this year’s show were inspired by one of the national parks. As a result, the exhibits were largely very naturalistic, creating some very realistic and beautiful scenes. Some of the highlights of what I saw are in the gallery below. Tomorrow I will post photos from my favorite section of the show that was a tribute to landscape photographer Ansel Adams.
