Universal theme overview

Ambition is a child of the Universal themes series and is part of the Process group of themes. It is a theme overview page

Ambition is a  strong desire or eagerness to shift our own experience in a certain direction. We wish to acquire specific things, to have people think of us in certain ways and we wish to control the outcome. We just really want something. And people are not the only things with strong desire, for corporations, nations and social movements can as well. In creative work, a creator explores contentment and desire all the time. Presentations of greed and success have always been popular subjects of works of art.
