Spirit lead people believe, it is an overwhelming need. They can put their faith in a higher power, in the idea that something greater is out there that holds everything together and provides a greater meaning to all existence. These are people who focus on what they are rather than what they know or what they have. This leads to an expansive and inclusive way of looking at the universe and the people in it. All of this idealized thinking and doing what is good for oneself can lead these very admirable people into thinking they are better than others in some way, or of falling into the trap that others are in some way better than they are. The strength they have is the dedication to whatever task or journey they are on.
Do not flee from the voice of immortality that is calling you. Success and failure become relative terms when you believe in forever. Following this ocean of eternity can also help you deal with your highly developed conscience. It is true everything in the universe creates consequences. You feel the need to strive for good because you feel we are all so deeply and unbearably connected, and while this might seem like the night of a thousand eyes, meditate on the fact that it actually is what makes us all human, and can bring you greater empathy and connection to others.
Motivation: Things need to make sense for those following a true spiritual path. Even when things are not fair or just, or even the way they want them, spiritual people just need to have a way to understand them. The striving toward an ideal means that the ideal state is more important than the striving or the result.
Lessons to Learn for Spirit Lead People:
- Don’t forget that the trappings and merchandise of spirituality are not the same thing as true belief or true goodness. Are you hiding behind self-denial, calmness, good deeds, a particular practice or a way of appearing set apart?
- Being alone does not make you more pure, just more lonely.
- Outward gifts (teaching, singing, healing, etc.) are ways or tools to express your spirituality, they are not indicators of how good you are or how advanced you are on your path.
- Doing good deeds is a noble thing to do, but you are still no better or worse than any other human being.
- Strive for balance in life and an integration of all parts of your life into one coherent display of faith and beauty.

Believers want to know, and yet are constantly being reminded that they cannot know everything, or even much of anything. It really is enough to know that you do not know, and casting forth a vision of positive good and communally beneficial outcomes.
